Uniting Nations Through Sport and Faith
Nations United unites organizations, churches, and teams to equip the body of Christ for ministry through major sporting events, reaching nations and building God’s kingdom.
According to "The Immigration Project," 85% of immigrants to the U.S. have never been invited into an American home. As Christians, we have an extraordinary chance to extend God’s love to our new neighbors. We recognize that it can be challenging to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. That's why Nations United exists! We believe that sports, play, and fitness create natural bridges to build meaningful relationships with all nations.
Our Mission
Our mission is to harness the influence of major sporting events to unite believers in making disciples among all nations through sport, play, and fitness.
Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19 to "go to all nations and make disciples." Today, God is sovereignly bringing many of these nations to North America. We no longer need to journey to the other side of the world—our mission field is often right across the street.
  • The U.S. foreign-born population reached a record of 44.8 million people in 2018. Immigrants today account for 13.7% of the U.S. population.
  • More than 1 million immigrants arrive in the U.S. each year.
  • Immigrants and their descendants are projected to account for 88% of the U.S. population growth through 2065.
  • 42% of immigrants in the U.S. speak Spanish at home. The other top five languages are Chinese, Hindi, Filipino/Tagalog, and French.
Why Nations?
“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”
